The room’s environment (lighting, darkening of windows, temperature, etc.) is also controlled via touchscreen panels, and in order to simplify their operation, predefined parameter sets are most often used for a given type of meeting. To ensure order and ease of use, conference tables have built-in power sockets, sockets/cables for connecting to a computer network, and to allow presentation of content on monitors/projection screens. The entire set comes complete with panels and indicators showing the status of the conference room booking and displaying the room occupancy schedule.
